Will you be my Valentine?

Post by jpettit » Tue Feb 14, 2006 2:47 pm

Will you be my Valentine?

Likes:
* long walks on the beach, preferably while discussing the latest round of the Corus or Linares Tournament;
* sitting at table for hours in front of a dusty table and wooden pieces
* enjoys Nescafe Frappe and Friend Liver, with a bottle of Scotch
* favourite animal: orang-utang, or, if real, dragons

Dislikes:
* most German words, especially fingerfehler, zugzwang and zwischenzug
* death of royal family members
* least favourite animal: hedgehogs
* checkers

Also: must have extensive knowledge of the Sicilian Defence. A strong Elo is preferred. Must be able to talk about chess 25hrs a day. Interested candidates should swear their undying love in this thread or, better yet, issue a challenge post-haste!

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and (light)hearted Valentine's Day!

Ok jonathan...are you a girl or a guy...cause that makes all the difference when I challenge you...you see, if you are a guy well then I will throw a glove down and challenge you right away..but, if you are a girl my delicate little wallflower(thelma my favorite name for a girl) then I will throw a rose in your face a challenge you in my most manly manner with testosterone and lots of hair balls flying all over the place.

With Respect,

Mic :evil: :twisted: :oops: :P :lol: :lol:
enjoyed chess for thirty years...have lots of books and mags but never time to study. Maybe when I retire...chess strength has gone done ratings are unrealistic
