White: cmarcolino Black: ferdyrojo

This game was played in the line of the Gruenfeld defense, Exchange variation, White made the unusual move 7.Rb1 and 12.Bg5. Best is the development of the KR, 12.Rfd1 followed by 13.d5, so if 12. ... Ba6 --> 14.c4! closing the center to his advantage. White gave up the center on his move 18.d5, neglecting to develope his KR: 18.Rfc1, if 18. ... Qd7 19.d5! Ne5 20.Nxe5 Bxe5 21.Qxh6. White overlooked the dominance of the doubled black rooks on the C file, as he played 24.Rfc1, (best is 24.Rxc5 Qxc5 25.Qd2 with a slight advantage) and preferred to bring his King to the center (26.Kf2), letting Black to make the exchange of rooks (26. ... Rxc3) so White was left in an inferior position. He tried to remedy the situation by the Offer of a Draw on his 35th move (35.Qc4), when his situation was a lost endgame. So White resigned on his 41st move, 41.Kf5. :o :) :D
