Error Message after move

Post by desertsnake » Sat Sep 22, 2007 11:20 am

I have 6 games going against Kloosterveen and after every move I get a error message saying it is not my move, have e-mailed admistration but e-mail has gone ignored. Can anyone help?

Hi, desertsnake of Nevada!
Re your error message, I have gotten that error when I click on the Move button twice (typical situation), or else you make the move but click on any button except the Move one. If you want to see your move performed on the board, you MUST go back (browser arrow back) and next, refresh the page (update it). This is the only way to check what you've played on the chessboard, I tell you from my own personal experience. Hope this explanation works for you.

Warm regards, reptile!

No, it does not help  I am not hitting move twice and has happened on every move on every game against him so far, on move 20 on most games. Has not happened on any other game. Still no answer to e-mail either

I have had the same thing so it must be something with his side. Greg should fix it if he knows about it.

I had the same problem with Kloostveen's game. It's no big deal really. I just back space a couple times and select the next game. :)

I've been trying to see what's going on, he's definably not double clicking the move button. I only see one successful move attempt, and no failures. Does anyone else see this on a regular basis?

If it's an internal server error, and not a "I isn't your turn", then I know what that is. He had e-mail notification turned on, but had an invalid e-mail address.
