same thing happened again
Hello! Same thing happened again. I challenge but opponent did not take up challenge. But he (dstephens) was moved up and I (patrikstorm) moved down. It should be the other way around.

login prompt
When clicking on any ladder link from net-chess.com then error is displayed and a login prompt pops up. Same as before (ordinary user + pwd does not work). And is was solved before so I have no doubt now that it will, but just making aware of the problem.

opponent did not accept my pyramid ladder challenge - I lost
I challenged "nicoleskywalker", who did not accept my challenge, posted by the book at netchess.com . Now all of a sudden I have moved down (level 13) and nicoleskywalker up (level 11). This seems weird to me. Another bug in the system?

...and just to make it clear. I posted my challenge also at slowchess.com (net-chess.com), i.e. by the book.

unwished removal from pyramid ladder
Why have I been removed from the Pyramid ladder? Last time I checked I had a valid (7+1d) pending challenge (and no counter-challenge received) at level 13. Now I am not there all of a sudden. What can be is that my opponent did not pick up my challenge nor issued a counter-challenge. But why should...

by the book!?
Ok. I have issued the challenge at chessclubinternational, then challeged my opponent at Net-Chess stating that it is a ladder game (standard or pyramid). The match has been played, 2-0 or 1½-½ (I do not remember now) in my favour. Check roadrunner vs. patrikstorm in the pyramid ladder and at Net-...

Moving up/down the ladder
I have won a match in the pyramid ladder for ~1 week ago. When does the result take effect?

unable to login for the ladders
Hi!
I get a pop-up window when trying to access the chessclubinternational page for the ladders, and do not get the old login page. Changes ahead? Anyway, my login w. user + pwd as before is not accepted. How to pursue? Please advice.

the logic is clear
Ok, it all make sense to me now. I did not quite figured out the logic before.
And, my remark about the site was stupid(!) and inappropriate. My sincerest apologies.

Opponents but not my record affected
A comment to the comment above. I have seen the record for "kenc" and he got the losses counted. But why is not then my record counted for the wins in this case. Clearly a bug indeed. Is it possibly so that a person with provisonal rating (as I had at the time), due to a bug or policy, not can win o...

it is irregular if you get time forfeit or not
In a recent couple of games (where I unfortunately set time wrong, thinking that 2d+0d would mean at least two days for EACH move) my opponent got time forfeit against me although only 4-5 moves were made. And it is calculated in my score and everything. Byt my games against "kenc" were 9 moves were...

time-out
Ok, thanks for the information and the other recommendation. Most other sites have 4-5 moves for any "effect" to take place.

high rating by time-out lost games!?
Is it just me, or is it possible to avoid losses by doing a time-out. It is impossible to influence the game any way (reply, if any, from the admin seem to take time) and you are not credited for the win in statistics or rating; and opponent do not suffer the loss either. If it does not change = a s...
