Re: 'Mr. Kentucky Chess' found stabbed in Jtown

As a UK national I wasn't familiar with Mr. Kentucky Chess, but found the story a really wasteful and tragic loss of life - I trust that justice will take it's course but this will never bring the gentleman back to life. Thanks Cliff

It's an honour to be marking Jeff's memory in this way and I am sure he's watching us get zapped as I write.

Your always welcome to pass comment Jeff and check on our less than nimble efforts to play this game.

To your memory and full life - thanks.

Zapper Tournament

Hi Greg,

I'd like to be included in the draw for this tournament as I shared many moments of chess pleasure with Jeff.

I'll be happy with the time controls when decided.

Thanks.

Jeff's Flag Fell.

Hi cnita,

I am sure Jeff would have willed the win that your play deserved if that was the case as he always wanted you to improve your game.

I trust Greg will grant your request in this circumstance.

Regards,

Kenneth

I don't know Jeff's Middle Name

Hi Greg, I wasn't aware Jeff had a brother and I apologise for having to meet you in such trying circumstances. My post of 2 night's ago seems not to have been accepted. I was fortunate to become a friend of Jeff's in an all too brief time here on net-chess and for me the "C" will always be for Cham...

Any news on Jeff

Having seen the many messages of support for Jeff, I was just wondering if anyone had an update on his present condition as I haven't seen any messages on that side. I am holding onto the thought that things will improve but know that the progress of the cancer may have been too advanced to make tha...

Move 26 should read Kg8 and NOT Kg6.

That's all.
