I know that no such designation actually exists but the sheer tonnage and diversity of informative and entertaining subjects on which Eugene has posted here, often in considerable detail, should not go unrecognized.
Of late, he's broadened his scope to include such subjects as The Three Stooges(personal favorites of mine),the origins of photo shopping, facial recognition picture challenges(I thought I'd located 11 human ones but one was more like a Panda's) and many other items of interest.
Furthermore, he has throughout tackled each and every subject on which there was some disagreement with the analytical skills of a forensic advocate.
He's a bulldog when he grabs hold of a position in such instances, going to greater depths than anyone else in dissecting the variables involved in reaching his conclusions. In the process he might post the occasional transitional eye-popper like " I must apologize, Greg, but my further statement is not made out of disrespect at all.
GREG, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG IN YOUR DECISION to allow munbehend to advance. "
However, that's rare and not of real importance.
I would be remiss in neglecting to mention his frequent very effective use of humor in his posts, particularly when he's got Brian in his sights.
For all these reasons I feel Eugene is deserving of the title of "Grandmaster of The Net-Chess General Forum".
