how long do challenges stay active?

Post by jwakeman » Mon Feb 05, 2007 5:14 pm

For some reason, I haven't been able to find any indication on the net-chess site or the forums as to how long a challenge will stay on the "Available Matches" page before it is dropped.

How long does one have to accept a challenge or offer a counter-challenge?

Approximately two weeks. After that, the maintenance routines here will drop the match request from the list of available matches, then the system at chessclubinternational will credit the player who issued the challenge with a forfeit win (assuming no counterchallenge has been issued).

I have a match that has been up for 15 days and nothing has happened yet. Will it just be taken off sometime today?
