i,ve been watching yasser seirawan on youtube (fantastic videos well worth a watch)he has an idea that to improve in the opening you should choose a GM and follow his games in your chossen opening i,am looking at the caro kann and the slav any ideas which GMs to follow. maybe karpov for the caro kann but what about the slav

For starters, you may wish to check out this Chess Opening Explorer at
http://www.365chess.com/opening.php

This site allows you to plug-in any opening moves, and then will give you a list of games, as well as GMs - IMs who frequently play your selected opening(s).

There are some other sites like this, but I'll have to search thru my gazillion bookmarks to determine which ones to post here.
