unwished removal from pyramid ladder

Post by patrikstorm » Wed Jul 26, 2006 5:07 pm

Why have I been removed from the Pyramid ladder? Last time I checked I had a valid (7+1d) pending challenge (and no counter-challenge received) at level 13. Now I am not there all of a sudden.
What can be is that my opponent did not pick up my challenge nor issued a counter-challenge. But why should I be removed?

...and just to make it clear. I posted my challenge also at slowchess.com (net-chess.com), i.e. by the book.

Looks like you've found another bug
Your opponent was removed by the system for not having logged in to slowchess for over a year, although I hadn't meant for this to be possible while a player was being challenged. His removal made it impossible for the system to display your name, since it appeared you were issuing a challenge to no one.
I've set the standings now to indicate that you haven't issued a challenge; if you would prefer to just challenge someone else, you can, or remind me when your match request is dropped and I'll move you up to level 12.
