enjoyed chess for thirty years...have lots of books and mags but never time to study. Maybe when I retire...chess strength has gone done ratings are unrealistic

I noticed the interviewer kept pronouncing Alekhine's name as Ala-keen.
And, since he was never corrected---I guess Alekhine thought that was close enough. I was wondering how Alekhine himself pronounced his name. What do you think? 8)
