Another cool Firefox feature.

If you log in and are viewing the main page, click the "live bookmark" (also known as the RSS icon) in the lower right corner. Now when you go to the bookmark the list of games under the bookmark is automatically updated to show only the games it's your move in. You can also right click on the main bookmark and select "Open in tabs" and get all of your games loaded in separate tabs.

This will work with any browser that supports live bookmarks, but as far as I know Firefox is the only one that supports them right now.

Is it necessary to login and be on netchess.com.
If it is then how does it help, i mean one can always click on ' show games in seperate windows'.

and yes opera also has the concept of Rss feeds

You have to log in to get the "Life bookmark" icon that has the right link. After you have the bookmark, you don't have to come back and log in every time for the bookmarks to be updated. Of course you have to log in to make a move, but as long as you click the "Remember Password" box that's not a problem.

A live bookmark is different than an RSS feed, but they use the same URL you wold use for an RSS feed. When you add a live bookmark, it's just like adding a subfolder to your bookmark list. And every time you expand the folder the bookmarks are updated.

You don't have to log in for RSS to work, you just have to log in to get the URL to use for the RSS feeds. After that, there's no problem.

The RSS feeds always show white on the bottom, it doesn't invert the board based on whether you're black or white.

The live bookmarks feature does not seem to be working for me. I get the message "Live Bookmark feed failed to load." The feed location that it is using is:

It works, it just gives that error if it's not your move in any games. I've added a placeholder "No Games" so that you won't get an error if there's nothing there.
