Pawns Only Tournament!

Post by simbathelion » Fri Dec 24, 2004 7:02 am

I have created a Pawns Only Tournament for everyone to enjoy :) ! I am not sure I chose the quickest way to get down to an only pawns match, but these are the starting moves:

Opening moves: 1.Nc3 Nc6 2.Nd5 Nd4 3.Nb6 Nb3 4.Nxc8 Nxc1 5.Nb6 Nb3 6.Nxa8 Nxa1 7.Nb6 Nb3 8.Nd5 Nd4 9.Nf4 Nf5 10.Ng6 Ng3 11.Nxf8 Nxf1 12.Ne6 Ne3 13.Nxd8 Nxd1 14.Nc6 Nc3 15.Ne5 Ne4 16.Ng6 Ng3 17.Nxh8 Nxh1 18.Ng6 Ng3 19.Ne5 Ne4 20.Ng4 Ng5 21.Nh6 Nh3 22.Nxh3 Nxh6 23.Nf4 Ng4 24.Nd5 Nf6 25.Nxf6+ Kf8 26.Ne8 Kxe8

That's the opening position, white to move.

Have lots of fun in the tournament, if this gets some interest, feel free to take the opening moves I listed ahead and create your own pawns only tournament!

Is the tournament rated? If so, I am not intererested. Also, what is the time limit?

You can get that information from the "Start A Game" page, just to let you know for future reference :) .

Time control: 30d+2d

Yes, the tournament is rated.
