selective memory

In an exhibition in the 1920's, Riti played 30 games of chess simultainiously (sp?) while blindfolded. Winning a great percentage of those games it was at that time, a world record. On the trip home Riti had to be reminded that He had forgotten a suitcase, so He and His people had to return to retrieve it. Riti remarked on this return trip, "I am so very sorry, My memory is terrible."
