Password E-mail

Post by steve » Thu Nov 25, 2004 8:39 am

I got the following in my e-mail from here....

The password for steve is noneofyourbusiness
Request was processed from 69.174.100.73

Is that because somebody pretending to be me said they forgot their password? Is it a reminder in case I forget (I'm not THAT forgetful)? Or is it something else?

Someone probably forgot what ID they had and just started guessing IDs until they got an e-mail.

I think the gentleman should not have put his password out here, and having put it out here, he should change it. Some unscrupulous person might try to hijack his account and make moves for him.

No, "wonttellyouanyway" is too long and hard to remember. I made it "123456".
