email notification
email notification
Are there advantages to keep this feature on, or..? ThanX!
If you use RSS feeds, or log in every day (or nearly so), it is unnecessary traffic through the internet. But if you check your email more often than you log in, it could be necessary.
It can be nice to know what move your opponent has made before you log in, but again RSS feeds are quicker and slicker!

I for one dont use RSS or even know what it is useful for but i do check my emails regulary as i play chess with the IECG too which is emal based.
I dont use the email notification here as i generally have a lot of games on the go at any given time and i spend enough time sorting through my other emails as it is.
But then more or less every time i log in here their are new moves for me to respond to so its not a problem
