Somebody on the old forum talked about this new book. I read it and thought it was great--the most complete treatment of the chess world I've seen. The guy talks about everything, blindfolds, simuls, and he actually interviews FIDE pres. Iyumzhinov. Great stuff...anyone else see it?

javascript:emoticonYes, I thought it was interesting. The writer gives us an outsiders view of chess. Very wide ranging book, we go from palaces in Kalmykia to prisons in Michigan. We talk to Ilyumzhinov and we talk to Bloodgood (hey, maybe that's not such a jump.)
