Open Challenge for specific opening matches...

Post by jjones » Sat Jan 24, 2004 11:05 am

Hey all !

I'd just thought that I'd let everyone know, if you want to challenge me to a 2,4, or a 6 game match that is opening specific, post it!
Just state the opening in the comments and be sure to let me know...I like playing to learn more about specific openings, talking and analyzing as we go!
You can also e-mail me at JeffJ45862@aol.com if you have other matches or challenges youd like to play, Im pretty open to most as long its reasonable!
I have already posted a couple matches at the Site, so feel free!! PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP AND THEN TIME OUT ON ME, bad bad etiquette! :( I REALLY enjoy the chats, cross-analysis and fun just as much as the game itself, so please have a glimmer of personality and wit if you wanna do this!

Good Luck and good chess...

I'm interested.

I remember that the one time we played, the games were very enjoyable. I'd be interested in playing at least a 4-game match. Name some openings that you would be interested in playing a match with.

Openings of Interest

Post by jjones » Thu Jan 29, 2004 11:36 am

Hey!!

Well, I was thinking of playing just 1.e4 for myself..being a D pawn player, I have VERY little experience in the E Pawn opening.
Other than that, the Nimzo Indian, Slav, Dutch are 3 that Id like exploring!!
Let me know what you think Mr Stephens:)

Jeff
Just post the challenge if you want and I shall reply...

I wouldn't exactly say that he lied about his experience with e4 openings. He just declined to mention that he has a little (or a lot) of experience playing the French. :)

Hey now!!

The "Zapper" has many secrets, that if revealed, would cause such a huge fallout that the Chess community as we know it would never recover..at least not this millenium:)
therefore, all must be kept "hush hush" or else WOEEEEEE to the ones that dare breach the information to the minions muahahahah

HOWEVER, future occurences will result in the appropriate backlash !!hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Go ahead....make my day!

Must be rough in that FLORIDA sunshine. Try surviving 5 minutes with 35 degrees below zero, which is the current wind chill here!
