Turing’s Machine

Post by irrawang » Tue Sep 11, 2018 1:46 am

Found a new app for the iPad called Turing’s Machine. A modern adaptation of Tourochamp, Alan Turing’s 1947 chess program/evaluation function+search ideas. Although the evaluation function is basic it can play up 2000 elo using modern processors etc. A lot of fun.

Turochamp has a most unusual style in that it tends to avoid exchanging pieces. Cost me $7.99 for the full version as the free version just makes blunders.

I updated my iPad and now it claimed that this site is unsecured. Do I need to worry?

It's just pointing out that this site uses http rather than https, that's the way it's always been.
