I searched the archive: advanced, and I can't see my won game.

I mean it's unbelievable unhandy to use the search.

I don't know who I won against to so I have to put my username in the black/white field and then look at hundreds of games to find the ONE.

There must be a better way...

There is, check your e-mail where it says "Game xxxxx has ended ....". There is a delay of about a day when you can't get to a finished game in the archives.

I didn't get an e-mail, and my email notification is on?
What is wrong?

E-mail problem too

Post by toverturf » Wed Nov 26, 2003 11:23 am

I haven't been getting e-mails since early October, with the following exceptions: I get notified about new matches, and I get notified about replies in the forums...

I used to rely on the emails...

I started w/email notification ON. That turned out to be inconvenient. I turned off email notification & am notified of matches/game results from an email that begins w/"bounce...".
Perhaps you have set this "bounce..." email address to be sent to /dev/null or equivalent in your mail program. I used to work for an ISP and we had user modifiable configuration files. I would bet that the failure at receiving notifications is on either your end or your ISP's. In my estimation this would be worth checking into.

I changed my e-mail address to a different account, and low and behold: it works again! hmmm... It's really odd that my netscape.net address doesn't work though :(
