Instead of watching the game on ESPN2 like I did the first time, I monitored it on the X3D web site. As soon as the rook took the pawn, the commentators said the game was over. Then, when GK made a move, the commentary was that there was still some life in the position, then he resigned...
All the variations I tried of the final position look like a loss to me, but I am no Kasparov (as anyone who has played me could tell you!)
I didn't find it nearly as exciting watching on the web site. On Sunday I will watch it on TV.
