Anyone know what rating the server has? On 1 second for each move.

It uses the GNU chess engine, I'm sure someone somewhere has guestemated the ratings for it at different speeds. The server IIRC is a 2.5Ghz Pentium 4, so you'll need the rating for a computer that speed.

They say it acheived a rating of 2100 at FICS running on a Citrix 166Mhz processor. But that wasn't necessarily limited to 1 sec per move, and obviously running at about 1/20th the speed.

I once drawed that chess engine, but that was long ago...
