For all I know most people like SCID. And CB-Light is really good. Theres a limit of 8000 games, but if you dont have a Million-base, its okay.

I had this question too!

I asked the same question a while back on the forum, and everyone pointed me to SCID, and I have to say, I have been using it and LOVING it! The only thing I like better in any software is the "prepare for opponents" in Chess Assistant, but other than that, I love SCID.

Greetings Joerg !

Do you have any preference between these two ? I'm curious which of these you use ? Perhaps one excels in some feature that the other does not ? I have no knowledge of SCID but am somewhat familiar with CB-Light. I just want to be sure I'm not missing out on some really useful functions that SCID may provide, but CB-Light does not. :?:

Seasons Cheers !
