Please join me in congratulating David and Michael for their joint win of the 2012 Net-chess tournament. Both played some excellent games, managing to turn very tiny advantages into full points.
While David has won the tournament already for several times it is the first win for Michael. These two deserve to be the champions and their play as well as their fighting spirit should be a motivation for all of us especially those who have joined the 2013.
Whenever we look back to the 2012 tournament we should not forget to spare a moment remembering ecperreault. This great player, who played an outstanding 2 round, for sure would have had great chances in the final also, but unfortunately passed away.
