Please put JohnB & myself down for another half point.Another tough game.Pretty interesting.We locked up the pawns & didn't even exchange any material till around move 23 or so.Broke a small hole on the wing & thought I could get my pieces through for a win...I was wrong. Enjoyed the game! Not the outcome I had hoped for,but at least I can I say got through the match undefeated! 2 points out of a possible 3 isn't bad! Regardless of score,had 3 enjoyable games against 3 great people.What more could I ask for...maybe a cookie?

By the way,how do tie's work in the tourney?How's round 2 gonna be set up? Not trying to get ahead of things here,just curious.never played in a tournament like this before.

the winning 2 teams play each other the losing teams play each other. round three the winning team from round 2 then round 4 is the sole winning team plays each other.

I have just heard, wilbeerthoven of Team Keep Em Checkmated just offer a Draw to iamachessstudent, team Captain of that Juggernaut Caissa's Chosen Team. One can only wonder if these 2 Board Two players will agree to a Draw after this electrifying Trompowsky Attack Opening without firing a few more destructive shots at each other like iamachessstudent's 13... Bb4+! We shall see if the offer is accepted.

As Round 1 winds down the Finals should be flooding in. I will try my best to keep up with them and mention every player and most of the games in the Zapper Tournament Reports.
