Why are all the announcements gone from the Home page on my browser window?
Also I can't seem to see players other games or ratings history on their profiles.
Something broke, or is just me.

Announcements are back, but...

Curiouser and curiouser.
The site isn't showing profile pictures, rating historys, on current games.
Sometimes only half the home page is showing.
Some posts take, some apparently get posted twice, and some don't show up at all!
Nothing refreshes correctly.

hmmm.... GREG!!!! HELP!!!!

Lots of crazy things going on. I'm working on it, not sure when things will be back to normal.

Everything is back to normal, here.
It must have been those Macs corrupting the server

It could have been the GD library for PHP causing the issue. Or, more likely, everyone's computer started acting weird at the same time, and magically fixed themselves at the same time I disabled GD.

Seriously. I'm not sure what caused the GD lib to start failing, but it could be the heat. At work some of the AC units failed under the high load yesterday and the server room reached 150F (that's not McDonald's coffee hot, but it's hotter than most). It's possibly something similar with whatever datacenter this server is hosted at.

With another Zapper tournament starting to get underway, have we ruled out the possibility of Greg giving us another "ZAP!", like he did this time last year?
