Wait now before you confuse me again!
I thought that the draft selection order was -Cliff, Brian, Jan, Josh. According to what you drew from the hat, right?
Remember the email I sent you? You liked the idea, so I posted it!
Then I ran a suggestion for a play system by you also:
We have four teams, that's four Board Ones, four Board Twos, Three, & Fours.
Why not the four Board One players play a RR against each other. Same with the Board Two's, Three, & Fours. Either 2 games or 1 game. Whatever we decide. That only requires the posting of four tournaments, rather than a multitude of matches.
Then, at the end of the four tournaments, the individual team scores are added, and the two teams with the most points play for the Gold, so to speak. Four individual 2 (or 3) game matches, which would each need one of those players to post it. If you wanted the two teams out of the "Gold Medal" round could also play those same matches against each other for the Bronze Medal.
Is that the final idea now? Or am I missing something>

Okay. I'll post a fictitious team lineup schedule so it'll be clearer to everyone. Perhaps I'm not explaining it too well. One of those things that's clear in my mind, but not as clear in print!
Give me until tomorrow. We have company coming over now for awhile!
*sigh* wait until you get my bill for clerical services!

Well at any rate, here's the slate we have so far.
Captains
cliff (2721) (Cliff - Canada)
iamachessstudent (2678) (Josh - USA)
jvanmechelen (2561) (Jan - Belgium)
islanderfan (2043) (Brian - USA)
Players
pcmvr (2883) (Pete - USA)
energy (2819) (Nils – Norway)
angelofthenight (2631) (Angel – Canada)
sisterofmercy (2468) (Hans - Belgium)
pawnraider (2337) (Paul- Germany)
johnrbrown (2305) (John Brown - Canada)
johnb (2284) (John White - Canada)
ecperreault (2253) (USA)
redketchuplover (2240) (USA)
mi (2217) (michel - France)
pwillows (2086) (Pete Willows - Australia)
cmulligan (2069) (Chris - USA)
heyuneverno (2036) (Jim – USA)
wilbeerthoven (2000) (Bruno)
jsiebert (1765) (Judy - USA)
As far as the draft goes, we'll have that when we get one more player, I guess?
I'll send the draft format that Brian agreed to to the captains tomorrow, and I'll post the playing format for Round One next. We'll figure out Round Two later.

(Well here are the teams we could have after the draft, assuming that every captain took the next available highest rated player, and played their players on boards according to their rating. Again, these teams are fictionous, and just being used for the sake of example. The Team captains are in italics.)
(Note: this list was compiled before the entry of pcmvr (2883) (Pete – USA), Sisterofmercy (2468) (Hans - Belgium) and wilbeerthoven (2000) (Bruno)and hence they are not listed yet, as the plan at that time was to go with four-man teams.)
TEAMS
Team A
Board One – Energy (2819)
Board Two – Cliff (2721)
Board Three – Johnb (2284)
Board Four – Pwillows (2086)
Team B
Board One – Angellofthenight (2631)
Board Two – Ecperreault (2253)
Board Three – Cmulligan (2069)
Board Four – Islanderfan (2043)
Team C
Board One – Jvanmechelen (2561)
Board Two – Pawnraider (2337)
Board Three – Redketchuplover (2036)
Board Four - Heyuneverno (2036)
Team D
Board One – Iamachessstudent (2678)
Board Two – Johnrbrown (2305)
Board Three – Mi (2217)
Board Four – Jsiebert (1795)
So, the event would consist of four tournaments in the first round, each teams' Board player against their corresponding Board players on the other teams; Board One vs Board One, Board Two vs Board Two, etc. as follows.
Tournament One
Energy, Angelofthenight, Jvanmechelen, Iamachessstudent – 1 (or 2) games vs each opponent,
10d+10hr time.
Tournament Two
Cliff, Ecperreault, Pawnraider, Johnrbrown – Same games, same time.
Tournament Three
Johnb, Cmulligan, Redketchuplover, mi – same games, same time.
Tournament Four
Pwillows, Islanderfan, Heyuneverno, jsiebert – Same games, same time.
That would end Round One. So far so good. Everyone?

Er...this may be a bad time to mention this, but if anyone can find us one more player that may be willing to play, assuming he/she is willing to be an emergency stand-in if someone can't make it, PLEASE do so rapidly!
The draft will go ahead as scheduled tomorrow, but that player may be needed as early as the start of the tournament, July 18.
I have an uneasy feeling about one entry....I'll send an email tonight, but I'm worried about that person. Remote area and tornadoes...bad combination...
