This Hurts !

My Confession / Admission .....

To .... Iamachessstudent [such a worthy opponent !] ..... I have tried every trick in the book that I thought I knew, against you [My Friend ] .... and still, I feel like the picture above indicates ...... "Being Swallowed WHOLE by a "Mighty PYTHON" ! ! !

So now what to do, I think ..... I don't usually give up easily in any of my games ...... however, I believe I can almost see the end from where I sit ....
I Salute You ! ! !
ImageChess is more than simply my pastime .... It has become My Passion !

There'll be some updates and such tonight or tomorrow under a new thread, probably "Zapper 2010 Tournament Report 2".

Some interesting stuff this week too!

That's strange because I distinctly remember you and I playing a Sveshnikov Sicilian game 3 or 4 months ago in a match arranged by Brian.
I was white and had been refusing the Sveshnikov for some time.I allowed it in our game(which we drew) in order to get current on developments in this system. In particular,I wanted to learn if white had found any new ways of attacking this defense which black hadn't yet completely refuted . I found that white had made no progress in this regard and that I should return to my practice of discouraging black's use of it.

Best regards,
David

Oh my apologies DAvid!
I had forgot and you are right, because we had chatted about that in particular, I believe you prefer 3. Bb5 against the 2...Nc6 Sicilian set-ups?!

Brian gets mne all confused at times so forgive me :)
I look forward to meeting you again in the future...I did enjoy the game we played; I had looked at it again and it was a good draw.

Thanks
Joshua
