I'm back from a erm i dread to think how long break in using this site. I thik it was around the time of my great friend Jeff Jones passing away i stopped playing so about a year roughly

Hands up who still remembers me ;)

Hi Keith,

i remember you : we played a couple of games. Jeff was playing too, in them days...

i've not played since a long while... : other things on my mind...

i still think about Jeff sometimes. i miss him, and the chats you had with him (yes i followed your treads - quietly).
somehow, it comforts me to see some 'old' players around (old being from the time Jeff was here)

Hi, Keith:

well the list is long but put me on it...for a challenge. Can't say i've improved but, next month on the 2nd I will be retiring so there will be some improvement. :)

enjoyed chess for thirty years...have lots of books and mags but never time to study. Maybe when I retire...chess strength has gone done ratings are unrealistic
