Sumdeus is a blasphemous knave and a cowardly dog, says I. He would not essay a fight with thishere sea man, to save his mother from hanging nor his sister from enslavement to a Laskar. There is not a Greenland seal that would have him for her whelp, nor even a weak-spined Spaniard that would fear him. He is never here, but always away in Confession -- the better to keep his gold braid on. Jehovah help him if he should answer this, else this runty swine shall soon enough be hissing and popping upon the spit.
