I'll probably have a recruiting drive of sorts, sometime in the next month or so, for the next competition.

Registration is underway for the second Chess-Teams Knockout Tourney. See http://www.chessclubinternational.com/teams/joinko.aspx for details.

Having played for a team before, there's a good chance that you already have a chessclubinternational user account. You can use the form at http://www.chessclubinternational.com/LostPass.aspx to retrieve your password, then you'll be able to log in and sign up.

Now bug-free?

For such a simple page, I sure put a bunch of bugs in it. People should actually be able to join the ko tourney now rather than just getting a series of nondescript error messages.
Please let me know anytime you come across errors on the CCI site, even if it's as small as a page not loading and it doesn't happen when you try again. Try to be as detailed in your explanations as possible, although even as little as "I clicked this button and it didn't work right" is very helpful.
Thanks!

The first step is to register for the KO Tourney - see details above.
I'm afraid there's not much you can do beyond that at this point. I have a lot of the architecture together for the new teams interface, but the coding itself still remains.
I hope to find the time sometime in the next couple of weeks to get things further along; there are still a good many ISPs to which I can't send email because of a misconfiguration in my mail server and that's a big holdup, in addition to not having the code written yet (that part shouldn't actually take too long, I hope). Plus, right now I'm just trying to get caught up with my tournament games after having taken nearly a month off moving and then not having internet access for a while.
Thanks for everybody's patience, and please spread the word about the KO Tourney signup. When last I checked, there were only about 30 players registered.
