My highest rating ever
My highest rating ever
After two games only my rating skyrocketed to 2183. I could not stop the tears coming down after this high acheevement. I am thinking to retire from chess now at the top of my carreer and remembered by everybody at Net-Chess at the top of my form..

Sometimes I wonder how life would be
if we were not required to wee.
No need for commercials on TV
no stopping the car to run behind a tree
and no agonising wait for the end of a movie.
If we were not required to wee
the smelly public lavatory
would no longer be required by you or me.
Splashing ones shoes or getting caught in the zipper
is something that would no longer matter.
How wonderful life would be if we were not required to wee.
We could drink buckets of beer
and never miss out on a shout.
But what of the person who drank too much
would they blow up like a balloon and float around the room?
Perhaps life without the ability to wee
is not a luxury as I first thought to see.
To micturate, have a piss, urinate or wee
is truly a pleasure
and to some more of a pleasure than it should be.

Herlocksholms boasts and claims
"I have naturally high testosterones."
Dcroll would rather wet the bed
preferably to using the head.
Beaumont drinks coffee to stay secure
but offers inducements of money and liquor.
Xmate on the contrary
uses his natural ability.
John Lennon said it simple and plain
"whatever get you through the game,
it's alright, it's alright."

congrats....just remember this...: those who have a 2500 plus rating on this site the majority of them are using chess engines to figure out moves when the games get more complicated .sssoooo you might have some difficulty with them as I do under your own brain power....

Come on mic, dont be so modest.
You dont have difficulty playing chess engines (players with ratings over 2500). You are a chess monster, we all know that !
You are able to play roughly 150 games at one given moment with an rating in excess of 2200 remember ! You are clearly a grand master and any chess engine should be no problem for you at all.
How are things in management by the way, are you still managing half of the USA ?
Best regards as allways

I dont mind loosing to someone using a machine. You see, I play chess to keep my mind active. There is a study at UCLA that people who exercise their brains (chess, soduku etc) have a 30% better chance of not developing Alzheimer's and they will live longer than a person who does not use their brain. So the message for these people: their machines will impove each year but their brain will have the IQ of a pumpkin when they reach 50!!

Great string!
I really enjoyed reading through this string of posts. You guys have a healthy sense of humor. I do wonder why people use machines instead of their brain - or to augment it. I guess it's all about the "dude" factor: some people feel like they need to win at all costs even if it isn't a deserving win. Oh well.
I am new to this site and I am enjoying my time playing. However, chess is a bit addictive at times and is cutting into my sleep, presently. A shame? Maybe, but I love chess, and sometimes I get caught up in wanting to win win win . . . I mean I do like the competition - even more, though, I like to play and learn and interact with other people. But to use a machine, it wouldn't feel like a win at all.
Have a great night, or something, whenever you read this I hope y'all are doing great.

Great that post made it?
Anyway what I wrote was, I don't think 2500 is the point where people really use computers.
I have been 2450 before, and I am consistantly around 2300 normally. I have beaten 2500's before, and I should even have one here where he missed mate in 1. I will try to look for it and post it cause that one I am thinking of was kind of funny.

There you go, this was in my provisional period guys so it was a while ago. If you search my archives I have some pretty good ones. Lately I have been goofing off so I dropped back in the 2100's for a little while then shot back to 2297. Hopefully I don't get that again.
I think we played 2 games and he won the other one, but this one was unexpected. I am led to believe the people that tend to use computers start around 2700.. and maybe 2600. But I am by no means saying that there are no consulters, because I believe there certainly are, and those people can range between 2100-3000 sadly.
(Consulters: People who use computers as tactical shields.)
I tend not to say someone uses computers because I have been called one several times on ICC and usually it's when I am testing out a cool opening in blitz. I have a funny game where I tested out a budapest gambit on someone in ICC. The ICC actually claimed my opening could not have been played by a human, as if it was out of their grasp of comprehension. Lemme know if you all are interested in the game.
