Statistics

Hi Greg,
when will you update the statistics on the start-page? They are older than one year! It would be nice if you could update them!

It'll probably be a while. There's more than twice as much data to go through than the last time the stats were ran, and the stats program locked the computer up on several runs before it finally finished. So the program is going to have to be rewritten before any updates are made.
I'm planning to get rid of the top 10 rated players, and bring back the top 10 # of games. I'm also planning on writing the new program so that the stats can easily be updated every night without consuming so much CPU time and RAM.
But don't expect it before Christmas.
