Unfortunatly you only get time added
I expect it is possible to have a set time per move instead or total times but as you mentioned already vacations would be a problem

How about just making sure that the Rating represents the quality of your chess games? At least that's what it is supposed to show. There already is an average rating listed of all your opponents to date and this is normally quite a bit below your rating mine certainly is as i tend to play newcomer...

That's why I started the game with 10d per move. I don't mind if you examine positions tactically and strategically. The 2 daily newspaper chess puzzles are quite easy as they already outline what must be achieved (and in how many moves). Here, it's me who has to determine the goals and playability...

the FIDE list is the most accurate chart of the best player in the world and if i remember rightly changings in ratings occur after the players expected performance at the tournament is predicted ie Kasporav should win but probably not with a perfect 100% win record thus he'll gain a afew more points

There won't be an automatic time increment, I'll just add more time if it looks like it's going to need it. I decide how much on a game by game basis. E.g. In regards to the tournament, has there been any definite say about what the time increment will be once we've hit 60 moves? Not that i am aware of Do you have a game reaching 60 moves yet??
