Hard to say until you know exactly how many games we will be playing really as the more games you play te longer you'd need per game added on

7days plus 1 or 2 days would be about right in my opinion

Regarding the time issue it would be better to have some time added after each move as some of us may well take holidays during the time the tournament is running and could there fore lose half the time assuming a 30d+0d setting with a two week holiday

occasionally if i spot a killer sequence or a bunch of forcd moves (usually exchanges) i'll use the notes section to leave my self a reminder of what to play next generally i just play the moves as and when i look at the board and the amount of time i spend on each moves varies depending on the pois...

as if you are i make it a 40% win record 1400 wind in 3300 games roughly

mines almost a win every other game but i want more wind than anything else

1000 finished games at last

After pretty much as long as the site has existed i have finally clocked up 1000 completed games.

Still got more losses than wins but i am slowly closing that gap down.

Looking forward to the mext 1000 games and if most of those are against Jjones i'll soon close the win/loss gap down ;)

If a match specifies the number of games against each player as "4," are all 4 games played at once? :( Yes and you also have to remember that if it is a 4 player match you would get 12 games started. Provided the time for thematch is something like 30 days plus 3 days extra per move it isn't norma...

Congratulations

It has taken me pretty much the entire life of this site (5 years and a month or so) to almost reach 1000 completed games but then i never used to have any where near as many games on the go as now.

Not far off my 500th win either but that wil be Autumn at the earlisest most likely.

I think it runs of the USCF rating rules

As far as i remember it is 20 games before you get a 'fixed' rating

As for the BCF rating rules (i think thats what you were on about) igenerally work to the rule of times the BCF by 10 for a rough idea of a players FIDE Rating

I'd Play Kg1 to make black move the bishop but pretty much any move would be fine

Nd2 looks good to as well as Ne5
