Help Needed

I just tried it but it results in different distortions, the best being no grid lines on the chessboard. Even though I reselected my first setting, the lines have not reappeared. Greg, can you please fix it?

Thanks,

Just Click "Dismiss'

Captainjivago, I think what you are referring to is a new feature which displays your games on your home page as they are completed.

If you no longer want to have the game listed, just click "dismiss", locted on the far right of the table and it will be removed.

All the Best,

I would favour the vienna game because of its' variability. Count me in for it.

Cannot View pgn format for game

Hi all, Is anyone having difficulty reviewing pgn formats of their completed games? I tried viewing recently completed game 1100788171 via pgn and unfortunately found it will not list the moves. Is there any other simple way of displaying all the moves of a game so I can print a hard copy to review ...

Jeff,

Well Done! 1500 wins is an amazing achievment!
It is far more than the 950 total games I have played!

You can count on me to help you reach 2000!!

Milking Points?

No, I don't milk points like that either. However, I have read of players doing it OTB and have even seen advice to carefully look for a win if an opponent offers you a draw in a unclear position. I am simply curious to hear Net-Chess players' opinions on a subject I thought would be interesting to ...

When To Offer A Draw

I would like your opinions and discussion on when to offer a draw. Of course I understand the idea of offering a draw when it is clear neither side can obtain an advantage. But what about offering a draw when you see the possibility of an unavoidable loss and offer a draw with the hope your opponent...

Yes, he knows the real meaning of chess and it's purpose.

It is a challenge to us all to display gentlemanly and sportsman-like attributes while unmercifully crushing the life out of our opponents! :)

Really, Why all the fuss? After all there are far worse handles being used. How about "somporn"? I suppose it is all a matter of personal preferrence and some tolerance on everyones part, but it does beg the question "Can a handle be changed"? Pe,

Just new to this so I am not sure how long it will be before I can play on a team. I would rather not Captain a new one but maybe there is enough interest for a second Canadian team. We will see!
