Re: Greg Reverse?
important? jesus freakin christ. Man Greg I defended your site from the likes of cornstalk, malakov, monajimenez, etc. and you say something childish and pathetic as that? Forget you and can see why these people have criticized you and your site. To answer the "importance": It was to give Mike (mluk...

Re: Tips for the Chess Player..in general.
Body Language can be VERY important in an OTB (over the board) chess game! So is watching your opponents actions during a game. I have played games where I have seen my opponent react negatively to a move that they have just made. Sometimes it is verbal, other times it is non-verbal. I know that th...

Re: ecperreault
The point I tried to mane is NOT the unusual openings, as you can read in the 1st post. I didn't even mention it. I'm not recalling old discussions...Look above who starts speaking about 1..,a6 and so on... The point I tried to make was the unusual resigning in clearly won positions. Now the son ha...

It's cool. There is no need to apologize to me.ecperreault wrote:Sorry about that Mr Stephens, I meant that comment for Mr Boeien. I just don't want Mr Boeien ranting to my son.
Meant nothing towards you, sir.

Re: ecperreault
My son has ALWAYS had his own account here. I refuse to give it to you. Greg knows it as do others here. I'm sorry. I was under the impression that you shared an account. I understand that you don't want to share his account name. I wouldn't put up that type of information either. I honestly don't ...

Re: ecperreault
Still no answer on my questions.....And further: you have a strange way to ask for support from the rest of the players here... He didn't need to ask for my support. You made a comment that didn't need to be made and is coming very close to starting a flame war. The only point that I agree with you...

Re: ecperreault
"It seems I hurt you. Why not react as a man?" You question his choice of openings. When he challenges you to a match where you can guarantee that the opening won't be one of his offbeat choices, you avoid the challenge by stating that he will resign early (There is no way to tell now why he resigne...

Re: ecperreault
I don't see the need to feel insulted over a players choice of opening. There are always going to be players that feel the need to play unorthodox openings because want to try something different or that they believe the only chance that they have to win is to surprise their opponent. I've got no pr...

It doesn't look like members get discounts on merchandise. It looks like anybody can purchase items. I didn't see any benefits for a membership other than the rating and chess life (if you decide to pay for it). Also, it looks like you can get better prices elsewhere like on chesscafe.com or Amazon....

I realize that it is difficult trying to communicate with others when a translator is required to be able to understand the other person. It wouldn't surprise me if all of these problems started because of this reason. It is unreasonable to come to the conclusion that Smurfchess is using a computer ...

I noticed problems with it as well. I am running Ubuntu 7.04 and I noticed what I believe to be others notes. Also another thing that I noticed was the from my games list, I couldn't see certain notes that I placed up until I look at the individual game.

I'm interested.
I remember that the one time we played, the games were very enjoyable. I'd be interested in playing at least a 4-game match. Name some openings that you would be interested in playing a match with.
