Hi all! (Especially Greg!) There's a newcomer (?) to the site, by the nick of yapedkef' who seems to be a bit puzzling... He joined four days ago, on January 30. He has zero games in play, and has played in zero games, unsurprisingly. This seems to fly in the face of the normal tendency of 'newbies'...

I don't think there's any one single answer to that question, fellows. It likely depends on a number of factors, the most important being how much time you have to spend on the games. Strange about how long the site was down....

Although 'joelag' couldn't reach it Thursday to Sunday, I was on Net-Chess on Thursday & Friday. I found it to be offline on Saturday & Sunday only...

Well, as Rob said, it's here now, so all is right with the world.... at least the world of chess!
