The one thing I disliked about conditional moves is that it helped your opponent think by showing them what you thought were their only options so they could focus on them. when I played regular corr through mail/email through USCF, I would only use conditional moves if the play was totally forced. ...

that's the time control. 50 moves in start time, if it goes longer than that (most don't) he manually adds time.

I'd say you are in an extreme minority of taking a whole month of vacation at one time. Also with the liberal 30days +2day increment.. you can easily accomodate a 2-3 week absense and still be able to play. A 30 day absense would be pushing it but still maneageable if you check the site every day, y...

Here's an idea. Don't put the team members in rating order, must make it that Each player plays 1 game or 2 games against every member of the opposing team. So with 5 player teams each player would have either 5 or 10 games going at once. A 5 player team vs 5 player team match would be either 25 or ...

Mine too, however this year I only ended up with one 2800ish player in my bracket with the rest evenly matched so may have a few competitive games going.

27d + 0 is pretty quick.....

Something like 30d + 12h, or 30d + 8h, one extra day per 2 or 3 moves made? Would still be fairly fast but still have some cushion.

You probably want to set it up for 6 players, 1 game each. Rating 1400-1700/1800 if you set it for 5 games, it did 5 games per player. Better I think would be to do 4 players with 2 games each and you get 6 games Starting time of 10 days, with 5 days per move.. that is very slow for most people so y...

How long after they hit 0 time does it take to award the win?
I've got one where they have negative time left.

Thanks,
