Yahoo has it so that there are two timers, one for the game and one per move. Let's say the timer is 30 minutes + 10 seconds per move, with a maximum timer of 10 minutes per move. I've had problems with people losing then just stop playing their game so their opponents won't gain rating. I know they're active because they're moving the OTHER games, which they are not losing. Can we prevent this? Why is it that when players time out, their opponents won't gain rating?
