ranting mic

the british guy - you refer to is me - i have a name - i totally agree with langelli. the forum should be used for general discussion = but this is not general - you are attacking a person - great to do in chess but not surely here, i agree that gentlemen should act accordingly - in my mind and my o...

i am sad to read such comments about anyone who obviously is not able to reply - as an englishman notwithstanding the american english way of life - free speech?.... why anyone should rant about this individual who gave chess a name in the states that the russians were not invincible at this game of...

game greeting

i am thinking of luck as a not too literal - understand that the game is skillful and luck is not usually appreciated - like all things it's a matter of choice - as one can't shake hands in greeting - maybe hello, hi etc may be exchanged without inference of luck - good game or other may be used wit...

comment box

I always try and greet my opponent with good luck gl or good game gg - often if i don't get a reply i take it as they are really happy with formal greetings and don't wish to communicate - sometimes i assume they are being down right rude - but this then gives me an advantage..... it's a problem wit...

grief is not the best subject

one can only sympathise with grief - life is full of ups and downs but the loss of a loved one human or animal has an incredible effect on the living - being human is to know and grow and hopefully not forget all that has gone before - always be respectful and humane. as everyone knows or will know ...
