on your 1000 wins. I am ashamed to admit one of those wins came at my expense, but what are you gonna do? Now get a life before you reach 2,000

Problems with my interface
Greg, I no longer see a draw check box on my move page. Also, the forward and back arrows do not work. Is this a weird browser problem? I am using MAC OSX. Is that causing the problem? It would be nice to be able to use the arrow buttons rather than having to close the game out and open it up again ...

True, recent games are more important than games finished hundreds of matches ago, but it is a quick and dirty rating that gives you a general impression of the quality of a player's opponents. It gives you an idea of the quality of the people you play as well. If we are going to have it, it may as ...

Changing how average rating of oppenents is calculated
Greg, I know it would be a little more work on your part, but it should be pretty easy to do. I suggest that the average rating of oppenents score be calculated with all of one's games every time a game is finished. Or to put it another way, fractions should be carried over. The way it is now, when ...

Actually, it is not a rounding problem. The two games would have definitely moved up the opponents average rating by more than a point. I have played 263 games, and the difference between my two most recent opponent's ratings and my opponent's average rating was greater than 263. I sense the calcula...

Average rating of opponent calculation
Please accept my apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere. I know this sounds stupid, but how is the opponent's average rating that appears on one's profile page calculated? I ask because I have just won two games that should have raised my opponents average rating 1 point but the aver...

not enough moves
what do you do when a player is not moving although they have lost and they are under the 10 move mark for making a game official?

Rating floors
My apologies for asking a question that is obviously from someone unexperienced, but what exactly is the purpose of a rating floor? They seem to keep some player's ratings artificially high, and that seems kinda lame.

Penalizing Timed Out Players
I am confused about just how players are penalized for timing out. It seems some of the 3000 ranked players have losing records, but all losses are time outs. How then do they keep a perfect rating? Does their rating not drop even though they had a time out?
If not, I would suggest that it does.
