I have played about 500 games in OTB tournament chess and have seen the whole range of should I resign or not...On this site, once I was in a lost position but, found a force stalemate that my opponent couldn't do a thing about...I was so proud of that stalemate I consider it one of my best games on...
well the list is long but put me on it...for a challenge. Can't say i've improved but, next month on the 2nd I will be retiring so there will be some improvement. :)
I'm looking forward to this change...we tried to do it in the 60's and it didn't work...we got the worst of the worst Johnson, Nixon ugh!...now is the time for this country to step forward and truly lead the world into a new age....maybe now is the dawn of aquarius?! :) :D   :!: :?: ...
Don't worry about Islanderfan: I think homeland security patted him down a little too hard when he came through at the airport....he seems to have a jealous side to him.
Mr. Energy: It would be nice if you challenged me if ratings don't mean that much. My experience on this site is that the better players are either using computer programs to get better answers or they are simply better players. My USCF rating is around 1700...been as high as low 1900's...and In 197...
well once when my mom found me in a ditch...you see I was adopted....my stepdad used to beat me up when I got old enought to fight back...that's why I'm a little wacko when I play chess sometimes....and then there was that one time at band camp...oh, I can't tell that story in this forum...I was thi...
I first started playing on this site a little over 4 years ago. I've always enjoyed playing tournament chess and have been out of it for quite a few years. This site has sort of replaced tournament chess alittle bit...the people on this site are pretty witty, chess savy, and I have developed many fr...

Thanks for saying what most everyone is thinking....the Dick Cavett interview was a different Fischer...and you are correct, his behavior and hatred of ethnic groups was disdainful. Cavett chooses to remember the Fischer of a different time and place....he chose his behavior and hatreds...like some ...
OK...I figured when they started calling me names and said I had no class they were sticking their feet in the muddy waters and showing their true class/colors.
I did not call anyone a name??? who the heck starts this stuff...I have always been polite to the people I play on this site...you folks need a sound arguement... or, challenge me to a game of chess...as for the flaming thing...I do not know what you are talking about...
Sir Collins: I was discussing mostly fact based issues on the late Robert Fischer...it's a general forum anything can be discussed in a reasonable way...which I did...soooooo, what's your point...if I annoy you why don't you challenge me to a game of chess...and we can settle it on the board! Mic :P...
What the heck is that guy talking about...Mr. Fischer ranted anti-semitism, was glad that 911 happened to america...he was a pariah...everywhere he went he fell in love with a 19 year old girl and played chess to get millions to fund his fetishes....people should pay more attention to this idiot...w...
I think that an insane person who followed scientology to the T...didn't have to die if he sought proper treatment...he was an insane cultist, racist, traitor who got what he deserved. My wife and myself put our lives on the line so that idiot could have his paranoid free speech. He was a sick delus...

I played Jeff in quite a few games and never beat him...he had an amazing sense of humor and LOLed me alot with my comments to him in our games. I will miss him dearly and remember him forever! He was a master player and a good friend...good bye Jeff.
Hockey guy, if that person forced a draw in a lost position they are doing quite well. I did the same thing in one of my games and the only reason I didn't resign earlier was that I saw a chance at a force stalemate...quite unusual and very happy to get the chance to do it. It was something to see.....
