Re: "idontknow" is a Dr. Greg Miller's creature.

I seriously think, after having read ALL previous messages posted regarding the above mentioned player, that "idontknow" is a creature purposefully created by Dr. Miller, since he is a scientist. I think it is something similar to Dr. Frankenstein's creature. I would appreciate any opinion about th...

Been tinkering with a free download called "Nagaskaki" I think its different than most and really does a few things useful to early players. The personalities move fast, and get better as you move up. I dont mean to play it blurry-eyed for hours, but maybe help your interests. The GUIs pretty bright,...

Chess players depicted as Nerds in High school, Ive thought they have parents that dont make them start trying in school until after graduating high school. Thats what I saw on tv about Japan that was interesting, the school system makes you return at a certain age. I was always trying as hard as I ...

Anyone can input a move from a Prog at anytime, so its going to be trust, so I vote no. Reason being a Non Cent can play very well, Ive thought even may win against a "shill" inserting well anylyzed moves from Progs, who knows.. it's asking for more corruption. The only other thing popular is speed c...

So its second round in tournament? Are those the time controls?
I thought it was a match someone started.
I would never agree to those time controls
I have completed all my matches for over 5 years now

I hadnt really shared how some of the archived records showed altered games and added made up players , ...

Ive just stopped a Chess Champion, re-killed a Travel Champion, and defeated Muldoon character in the Chessmaster game/10 or close to that by myself.. Id say that here I have a hundred times more time, So I may be using my ideas with a blunder check.. I am 46 so why would I take a chance on missing ...

Help with teaching?

Get them started with a tiny, tiny board.
They will think they can identify the
pieces, and learn to win a piece in a few
lines, and keep the interest up
they get interested when they play on a
bigger board, trying the tactics from the
"starter" set Just one idea..

IE problems

If the problem stems from the update, you could go to add/remove although its XP, Ive heard some bad things also about the update. Avoid the XP update Also Win98 runs IE very well, Im keeping it until 006 when support is slated to end..

Well, IE works OK for what I do, are you sure yours is updated?. Also, when I look at others computers often they have numerous progs. running, and they do a whole days work before the darn thing even starts, (messenger services like yahoo and msn, often running at the same time) It could still be a...

Has anyone taken advantage of the wealth of Chess related stuff on E-Bay? I was looking at some of the Vintage Stand-alones when it hit me- alot of software and new games for sale! I dont care if I lose in 2-10 min games anymore, as long as I know what happened, For a game to seem important You should play slow Chess. Ive gotten a vibe that some speed players are actually interested in belittling the game, I just play both, I can remember still some of the games still some pos...
