Whats the website where you can punch in a position plus who's turn it is that lists mates out to 20 odd moves??

Would that find this one?

Chessbase stops at Mates in 8, or at least i havn't seen anything higher

It goes from when you join the match i think. It wouldn't show the match if you were not elgiable for it, unless you have all matches lsited off course.

Technically one of you could resign so its not a certain draw :wink:

But yes it can only end in a draw although i think it is 50 moves with only your king left to get a draw, which applies here anyway, not 50 moves without a piece being taken

aye it sorts by the first number it gets too thus my only game with 141 days left is listed 2nd between a 10 day game and a 16 day game

Setting up End game tournaments sounds like a good idea to me.

Openings only lead to middle and end games after all so you still need to know what to do at the end.

I am assuming the aim of the second game for white to move is to get to an equal position.

The only decent move for white is 1.Nxc6 Nxd2 2.Nxe7+ (not Bxb6 as 2...bxc6 3.Kxd2 axb6 doesnt get white anywhere) Kh8 3.Bxb6

Well it's only taken 5 years and 1100 odd games but i have finally reached 500 wins and more importantly i am closing in on my lose total of 510.

By the end of the year i aim to have more wins than losses which will be easy to acheive if i have a 10 game match with Jjones ;)

Thats a useful little program Telly Don't forget that even if it does only nake BMP pics folks you can easily convert to a jpg with many freeware programs and even the rubbish windows comes with if need be i personally would recommend Irfanview for pic editing needs unless you have a digital camera ...
